a little press for big ideas
The Novella Project
is a two-chapbook set including work by Kaz Adam Mason (Mark Jordan Manner) and Novella Ebony Danger (Jessica Bebenek) which pushes the boundaries of literature, love, and existence as we know it. Mason's short story 'Novella: A Short Story' chronicles the rising and passing of the greatest romance the world has ever known—the love between himself and the poet Novella Ebony Danger. For the first time ever, Danger's poetry chapbook Until The Morning is being included alongside Mason's story so that we may all bask in the multitudinous glory that is… art.
Jessica Bebenek is a poet and writer living in Toronto. She recently graduated from York University's Creative Writing program where she won several poetry awards and completed a creative thesis exploring fairy tales. Her work appears in Echolocation, Little Brother, and [PANK], among others. She is the founder of Loose Ends Press, under which she published her first chapbook, I, Family, last spring. She lives downtown with two rats and a prose writer.
Mark Jordan Manner lives in Toronto. His stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Grain, EVENT, Riddle Fence, Ricepaper, The Puritan, The Antigonish Review, Prairie Fire, The Feathertale Review, and others.
